HAWKTALK HT485 TCP/IP Ethernet Module
The TCP/IP Ethernet Module for the HAWKTALK Flexible Meter provides serial server network connectivity for virtually any type of serial device. The TCP/IP serial server supports a wide range of protocols using serial tunneling. This feature enables the HAWKTALK Process Meter to communicate over TCP/IP as if they were communicating over a serial COM port.

Principle of Operation
Multiple serial inputs are addressed and connected to a single TCP/IP cable using the on-board RJ45 plug-in connector. The TCP/IP Ethernet Module is DIN mounted for integral mounting into the HAWKTALK Flexible Process Meter, or remote mounted on a sub panel.
