Ultrasonic Technology

The Ultrasonic Technology operates by transmitting an ultrasonic signal from the transducer towards the product being monitored. The reflection signal or echo is received by the transducer and processed by the amplifier. The time between transmission of the ultrasonic signal and reception of the echo is measured, and using the speed of sound through air, the distance from the transducer to the products being monitored is calculated.

Ultrasonic technology measures and detects distances to moving objects. It detects small objects over long operating distances and are resistant to external disturbances such as vibration, ambient noise and EMI radiation. Ultrasonic sensors are not affected by dust, dirt, temperature or high-moisture environments.
